Helena / West Helena Indians, Class of 1964 - Gathering Place

Just to let you guys know a little about me over the past 45 years.  After leaving Central in 1964 I attended Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia where I met my wife.  Pat and I will have been married for 40 years this June.  It has been a wonderful marriage and we have two grown children, Robb and Tricia.  5 grandchildren - 4 boys and 1 young lady.

After leaving Ouachita I spent a full year in Vietnam.  Was a young Lt. attached to an infantry company.  Came back pretty well unscathed.  Upon returning stateside I tried being a salesman for a couple of years and basically was not very good at it.  In 1976 I entered the manufacturing business and have been in that field ever since.  Pat and I have lived in Morrilton, Ark. for the past 32 years.  We raised our kids here and it has been a good place to live.  We will probably not retire here, however, probably moving to Conway to retire in a few years.  I currently work in a paper mill here in Morrilton (wave at me if you go to Petit Jean State Park) in the purchasing department as a maintenance buyer of maintenance items and contractual services.

I have really enjoyed connecting with all of you guys again, and hope that the reunion will actually occur next summer - 2010.

This picture is me with 4 of my 5 grandchildren taken in January of this year when we all went to see the Harlem Globetrotters in Little Rock.
