Helena / West Helena Indians, Class of 1964 - Gathering Place

I sent out an email to all my contacts announcing a date for upcoming reunion.  If you did not get the email, let me know.  The reunion will be the weekend of June 5th, 2010, and will encompass all the classes of the 60's.  I am loving it.  Stay tuned for more information after the 1st of the year. 

New picture up.  With this picture you get a two in one.  Jim & Brenda Boyce Lahue.  I don't have a senior picture of Jim, because of a snafu, his picture was eliminated from the annual back in 64.

Y'all check out Phyllis Boyce Schaffhauser on the "then and now section".  Thinking that the ladies have fared much better than us old guys over the years.  Think I may have another picture to post tomorrow.  Check back then.

I have resurrected the sports page as best I could.  Will need help on naming all the pictures again, so if you know who they are in the pictures.....send them to me again.  Appreciate your help.

I think I have found my sports stuff hiding in computer never never land.  I will try to get them back before the weekend is up.  Haven't done much lately on the site because work and grandkids have been priorities.  Work is ok.....but grandkids are ALWAYS a priority.  If you ever want to be bored to death......ask me about my grandkids.  -)

I am still ticked because I cannot figure out how I lost the "sports stuff" page.  I have been unable to find all the pictures that I had on that page.  I will do my best to recreate it.....but may not be the same.

Also have made contact with Phyllis Boyce Schaffeser (sp?).  I knew she was in Helena, but she is now beginning to delve into the wonderful world (sic) of computers.  Any, I have her email address now.

Was trying to eliminate some unwanted stuff in web files.....and elimiated some wanted stuff.  The "sports stuff" page has totally disappeared and I don't know where it went.  I think I am going to have to call Barnaby Jones to help me find it.  He and I will work on it over the weekend to see if the missing page can be found.

Ok.....he wasn't really lost, but found him anyway.  Joe Mitchell lives in Lexa.  Thinking everyone knew where he was but me.  Talked with him yesterday and have his email address.  Thanks to Rick Johnson for supplying me with his phone number.  Send more stuff.

Yipee......got a new picture to post.  Y'all check out Jean Presley Case on the "Then & Now" page.  Thinking Jean may win the least changed contest, and that's a good thing.  Smiling when I say Jean slipped up and put her picture up on Facebook, and I ripped off her picture from there.  She did consent to letting me use it. -)

Also working on a new page.  On facebook (y'all gotta try it) I saw a guy named Dick Duke and he had a bunch of pictures that he had taken of Helena.  I checked them out and then asked if I could use them.  He gladly consented, and I will get them posted soon.  Dick is a cousin of Neal and Neala Duke, and even though he did not live in Helena, he spent a lot of time there as a child.  I appreciate him and will get the pictures posted soon.
